ABOVE - A PRODUCT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING AGENCY BASED IN SWEDEN.
Above is launching a new business unit called Business Innovation (BI). This business unit will work mainly in the intersection between business, strategy, and design, more specifically in innovation management. They needed help packaging this new business unit - for us, that meant specifically through the User Experience of the BI page on Above’s website.
BUSINESS OBJECTIVES: Acquisition of new clients, acquisition of new projects in older clients, market acquisition within the Innovation Management industry, and a sales goal for 2019 of 11m SEK.
TARGET AUDIENCE: New and existing clients interested in Innovation Management.
Clients found out about Above through word of mouth
The browsing experience is not innovative
It is difficult to navigate examples of previous cases
Clients will contact for details and cost estimates
All levels of clients need to be able to understand what is on offer
A Business Innovation page that stands out from the competition: a touch of kitsch, but still minimal. The BI landing page offers a brief description of Above’s offering, inviting the user to click through to discover each package in more detail; and links at the bottom of the page to previous BI cases.
We also created a wireframe to illustrate how this page would fit into their existing site, and created a ‘gamified’ contact form that is both easy and fun to use. Beyond this, we also suggested a redesign of the newsletter, with each edition archived in a ‘Feed’ page, making them easy to access on demand.
My role in this project was as Creative Director, Copy and Strategy.
